Calling all Writers!

The Verulam Writers' Circle held their annual 'Get Writing' day at the University of Hertfordshire (De Havilland Campus, Hatfield) last February. It was such a success, they are planning a follow-up very soon.

The event, intended primarily to bring together fellow writers to exchange views and learn from each other, was much more than just a day of networking with other writers. It included presentations by published authors and journalists, Q&A sessions with publishers and agents, a book-signing session plus a variety of workshops and talks. There's even a short story competition and opportunity to pitch to prospective publishers. The day was packed with learning and developmental opportunities.

If you are interested, it promises to be invaluable for all levels of authors, from the experienced and published to those just starting out. Regardless of your age or preferred genre, if you enjoy writing, already earn a living from it or just hope to sometime, the Verulam Writers circle promises much.

Last year the February event sold out with over 150 delegates attending, so if you're interested, do book early, although there is so much more on offer via the Verulam Writers Circle.
