Social or BIG Business Society?

Lets escape, shall we ...

With Christmas upon us and Spring keenly willed to follow on it's way it's traditionally time to contemplate the 'should I go or should I stay' decision time for the winter holiday. That's right, holiday - do we indeed have the TIME - or resource for holidays in today's society?

Now, you may find it strange that this question should be asked, after all that's what we work for isn't it? Working for wealth, a comfortable life for each and the family, to be able to spend time and to spend some of that hard earned income on visiting exotic landscapes and treating the family?

There has been a growing feeling of dissatisfaction in the lifestyles we lead. Brought about by an (apparently) incompetent government, lame bank management, lost direction in captitalist values and directed by the consumer trends. No wonder the youth of today ''arrive'' with a totally unsatisfactory view on what life is really about. Or do they?

The youth (the youth I know) are very much aware of the value of relationships, personal contact and affinity. We see this in social media, we see this in the growth of our prosperous music scene. Our young adults value the 121 more than we give them credit for.

So, should I stay and celebrate real life with our youth or should I go for that get away from it all break we all deserve now and again??
